2nd "Stories for a Music Video" - BLUE

Starting, It shows a man (non of BIGBANG members, just a man) standing on a bridge staring at the rippling river.

(English Translation)

The winter had passed
And the spring has come
We have withered
And our hearts are bruised from longing

Here, the man is wearing a scarf around his neck and a beanie on his head, a thick jacket is worn by him too and everything he wore is in the colour blue...his hand holding blue origami lotus flowers and he drops those flowers, one by one to the river, and the origami lotus flowers floats beautifully on the river...After that, the man then walks down the bridge and his hands are in his pockets, suddenly he pulls out his left hand and he saw a pile of dust/sand on his palm, he looks at it and slowly pour it to the river...right before Seungri sings "I'm singing my blues~" he flicks off the remaining dust/sand on his hand.

In this scene, the man is walking and walking and he is looking at the skies and scenes, but he can't see any other colour other than blue...we can see he's wearing a Sapphire blue ring...and he has headphones on (on his MP3 player/iPod it shows that he's listening to BLUE)...the man suddenly stops, and just stares at the sky (like he's thinking about his past)

(English Translation)

(G-Dragon) Under the same sky, at different places

One letter difference from ‘nim’^
It’s cowardly but I'm hiding because I’m not good enough

Here, the scene is in black and white (It's in the past)...In this scene, we can see the man and his past girlfriend  standing on opposite side of each other, suddenly the guy hands the girl something (It's a couple ring) while handing her the ring, the guy shakes his head (like a sign that he wants to break up) the girlfriend looked puzzled and tried to ask the man why but the man turned his head sideways and looking at the ground, avoiding eye contact with the girl...the girl then, with a puzzled and sad look, looked at the man for awhile while she slowly steps back and turns her head and body and walks away...(right when this part is ending)

(English Translation)

(G-Dragon) Cruel breakup is like the end of the road of love

Here, the man is back at the bridge, he's sitting on the bridge while drinking beer with a sad look on his face and he keeps on looking at his Sapphire blue ring (cause that ring is similar to the couple ring with the past girlfriend) and then he closes his eyes and laid his head back...

(English Translation)

(G-Dragon) Perhaps my lifetime’s last melodrama
Now its final curtain is coming down

Here, the man is at the park sitting and watching a short drama about two people in love while remembering his past and he saw one scene where the couple "break-up" (their hands slowly slips away) and the curtains drops, the man then puts his hand on his face, like he is in pain...

(English Translation)

My cold heart that has been dyed blue
Even with my eyes closed, i can’t feel you

In here, the scene seems brighter (like the man's dreaming) the man is standing in the middle of a park/road, his past girlfriend is standing opposite him, looking at each other, smiling, their hands slowly reach for each other and holds, the man then hugs the girlfriend while eyes close, slowly he hugs tighter, like he haven't hugged her for a long time. But when he opens his eyes, the girl isn't there anymore and his hands are filled with sand/dust and the man was "crushing" the sands/dust (making a fist with his hand while having sand/dust on his hands) and slowly puts down his hand while having a furious yet sad face...

(English Translation)

Again, the man is wearing all blue, has headphones on (listening to BLUE) and then he pulls out something out of his right pocket and reveals it, it's a necklace (the studs on the necklace is of course, BLUE) and after looking at the necklace, his face immediately turns depressed while furious at the same time (like the necklace reminded him of his past girlfriend) and just puts it back to his right pocket. He then stops at a building bridge and pulls out a blue paper aeroplane out of his right pocket and let it fly across the sky while he stares at it...

After "releasing" the plane, he then decides to walk back to his home, on the way home, he saw a graffiti on a giant wall and it says "Unforgettable Love" in blue (of course). After seeing that, he just lean on the wall and just trying to relax...

(English Translation)

Trauma, that has been carved in my head

Once these tears dry up, i will moistly remember my love

Here, the man is in his apartment, in his room, the man pulls out an empty box and wrote "Memories" on the side and starting to collect everything that the past girlfriend gave him and everything that reminds him of his past girlfriend, as he collects the stuff, his face becomes sadder and sadder...then he grabs his photo-books

(English Translation)

(T.O.P) I’m neither painful nor lonely
Happiness is all self-talk
I can’t stand something more complicated

He slowly looks through all the pictures in his photo-books and he noticed that almost every picture has his past girlfriend in it so he becomes more depressed and furious...

(English Translation)

After looking at the photo-books, he just throws them in the box of things from the past girlfriend (he threw it furiously) and leans on the wall with his let hand on his face (like he's full of regret) and slides down til he's siting on the floor with the box just right in front of him...he saw the box and furiously kicks it....

Here, the scene seems brighter again (like the man is dreaming) the girlfriend is walking and stops suddenly, she stares at the sun and blocking it with her right hand, she was wearing the couple ring on that right hand and when she blocks the sun with that hand, she saw the ring and bringing her hand down to get a closer look...suddenly a hand reaches for her right hand, when she look to see who it is, it is that man (with bright sunlight on his right part of his face) and he's smiling towards her. The girl then holds the hand tightly, but the guy's hand wasn't there anymore but her hand looks like she's gripping something really tightly, she then slowly puts her right hand on her chest, where her heart is...(this shows that the girl also misses the man too)

(English Translation)

In this scene, the man is seen closing the box of memories and putting it under his bed, he then sits on the floor wondering if he made the right choice of forgetting the girl and such...he then climbs up his bed and lies there (note: he has headphones on still)

(English Translation)

(Taeyang) Again tonight, underneath that blue moonlight
I will probably fall asleep alone
Even in my dreams, i look for you
And wander around while singing this song

The man has a window beside his bed so, after climbing on to his bed, he stares at the sky and suddenly lifts up a blue-see through paper-thing towards his window and puts it down (wondering if he really is in reality or not) and then lies down on his bed, wondering if he could sleep again or not, he then gets up and takes off his headphones and looks at the window once again (like he decided on something) His earphones are seen dangling "outside" the bed...

The man is out yet again, but this time, he is wearing red colour shoes, black jeans, an olive green jacket and a white shirt inside...the man is walking, but now he looks as if he has more confidence and not furious anymore...as he walks, he suddenly stops...

He saw his past girlfriend at a cafe opposite him, but the girlfriend didn't see him because she was talking to another guy...when the man saw that scene, he actually didn't feel angry or jealous, he felt happy and relieved instead...while looking at that scene, he smiles with gladness...he suddenly pulls out something from his pocket yet again...there were some sand but underneath that small pile of sand, it's a red origami heart..when he saw that, his smile became bigger and he walks away...

Now, if you guys want a summary on this story...It's basically saying that the man broke up with his past girlfriend because he thinks she could do better than him, but even though he broke it off, he still can't stop thinking about her since she really meant alot to him until he suddenly just wants to start anew and put the past away...

The actual MV of BLUE is similar to my story...the MV is saying that the girl is their past and they are running away from it because they want to forget what happened to them last year...and they want to start anew...

My story on the other hand, is also talking about them trying to forget and get rid of the past and just start anew...The man breaking up with his girlfriend, meaning that he knows that he has done something that can't be forgotten and such...The man being all furious/depressed is like saying although he wants to forget about the past, it's really hard to just forget...The scene where the man's wearing colourful clothes again shows that he wants to start over and he's ready to put the past behind him...the heart at the end is a symbol that his heart is healing from the past and it's a sign that he's ready to move on...
